Wilbur's of Maine is a small chocolat factory that's been making delicious treats for almost 30 years. Always worth a stop!
Take time to appreciate yourself and your body. Self care is often put to the side as we go through our busy lives. Visit Eliza (one of Jessica's bridesmaids) for a relaxing massage!
Freeport is home to the flagship store for L.L. Bean, and, of course, a giant Bean boot. There's an array of outlet mall stores and plenty of little shops to explore.
Jessica's favorite beach, Reid State Park offers sandy shores and dunes — rare for Maine's rocky coast.
One of Maine's original state parks, Bradbury Mountain is home to some beautiful hikes a short drive from Portland or Brunswick.
Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park is a public recreation area located on Casco Bay on the southeastern side of Freeport, Maine.
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is a botanical garden in Boothbay, Maine. Opened in 2007, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens invites visitors of all ages and abilities to create and to explore meaningful connections to plants and nature at their own pace.
The quintessential coastal town, Boothbay Harbor offers lots of little shops, good food, and a fun atmosphere for exploring the coast. While here, make sure to take a trip to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse!
Commissioned by John Quincy Adams in 1827, this Maine lighthouse has the Fisherman's Museum on the first floor in the Keepers House.
Fort Popham is a Civil War-era coastal defense fortification at the mouth of the Kennebec River in Phippsburg, Maine. It is located in sight of the short-lived Popham Colony.
Like the other Portland, Portland, Maine is famous for its delicious food. Some of our favorites include Pai Men (ramen), Blue Rooster Food Co. (hotdogs), Hot Suppa (brunch), Nosh Kitchen Bar (burgers), Miss Portland Diner (diner), and Two Fat Cats (pie).
The Old Port is a quaint historic district with cobblestone streets and brick buildings housing clothing boutiques, gourmet food stores, and souvenir shops.
Portland Head Light, is a historic lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. The light station sits on a head of land at the entrance of the primary shipping channel into Portland Harbor, which is within Casco Bay in the Gulf of Maine.
A lovely little art museum, Portland's Museum of Art offers a quiet afternoon to escape the summer heat.
The Maine State Museum is one of the nation's oldest state-funded museums, and sits in downtown Augusta.
The Maine Maritime Museum, formerly the Bath Marine Museum, offers exhibits about Maine's maritime heritage, culture and the role Maine has played in regional and global maritime activities.
Perhaps the most famous lobster roll in Maine. If it's your first time, this is the place to go. Expect a wait!
A small town that serves as the gateway to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor is a fun stop for a trip
Acadia National Park is a 47,000-acre Atlantic coast recreation area primarily on Maine's Mount Desert Island. Its landscape is marked by woodland, rocky beaches and glacier-scoured granite peaks such as Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the United States' East Coast.
